Always request a visitors guide for your town as well as any city you are visiting.
The visitors guide contains many coupons and lots of great information to help you prepare for your trip. After you’ve compiled a list of attractions and sight seeing opportunities available in your area, you can do some online research to get the most current operating hours, admission fees and exhibit and tour information. The brochures available from the Visitors center can also be used for lapbooking or notebooking.
Always ask about the AAA discount (of course you need to be a member of AAA).
I am always amazed at the discounts available to AAA members. Always inquire about the discounts.
Always ask if they offer discounts for homeschoolers. It doesn’t hurt to ask.
Many national parks give free admission to homeschool groups. All it takes is a membership card from your local homeschool support group.
