Inspired by the Great Backyard Bird Count we are now participating in Project Feederwatch. Although there is a $15 fee to participate it does include a research kit containing: the Common Feeder Birds poster, 14-month calendar, the FeederWatcher’s Handbook, BirdScope (lab’s newsletter) and more.
The program runs until April 3rd and count periods are based upon the first letter of your last name. You can sign up anytime–if you sign up late in the season you are automatically enrolled in the next season as well.
