The boys tried their hand at Pable Picasso’s The Cock 1938 last week in art class. They are enjoying each week’s artist study and bringing home their individual works of art. I’m so proud of the interest in art they are developing and the opportunity they have to be creative each week. The focus of this class is to expose them to a variety of great works by famous artists and then have them try their hand at using each artist’s technique. I hope to spend more time doing an indepth study of at least 4 artists whose work or technique they admire or seem drawn to over the course of this study. At this point we have Monet, Picasso and Miro on our list.
