Have you downloaded the toolbar that everyone is talking about yet? The one that is constantly being updated with the latest educational resources?
When I spoke at the Heart of the Matter Parenting Conference about The Best Online Tools I was excited to share some of my favorite online resources. I thought new homeschoolers would benefit from them. I thought veteran homeschoolers would be reminded of great resources they had since forgotten about and would be inspired to use them, maybe even in new ways. I was pleasantly surprised (and a little shocked) when I heard that virtually everyone in my session had not seen or heard about 80% of the resources I had shared!
The Homeschool Resource Toolbar was originally created for our homeschool co-op group. At the last minute, just before this session, I decided to share the toolbar with those who attended my session. After the session I realized I really needed to share it with all homeschoolers.
Tool bars have become quite popular on the online community. Many tool bar users have complained that they downloaded so many tool bars they don’t have room for any more! Well, did you know that you can download components from your favorite tool bars and add them to your existing tool bars? The Homeschool Resource Toolbar has a new “To Go” version that allows you to download 2 of our favorite resources from our resource tool bar.

The Shopping Cart button on our tool bar houses all of our homeschool shopping resources. I added this function to the tool bar after I realized that many homeschoolers do not have the benefit of attending their state conference and shopping the large vendor halls. Thankfully, you can do this very easily online and even request catalogs for free to peruse at home as well.
Our shopping cart resource contains a listing of the best homeschool:
catalogs
Online stores
Curriculum providers
Product sources by subject or methodology
