We are having fun learning about the continents. I don’t recall learning the continents in school. If I did, it certainly didn’t stick. So confession: I had to learn (or possibly relearn) the continents before I could teach it to my children—and they were none the wiser!
We first started off with a song:
I’ve got the whole globe in my hands,
I’ve got the whole globe in my hands,
I’ve got the whole globe in my hands,I’ve got Europe, Africa, and Asia in my hands,
North & South America in my hands,
Australia & Antarctica in my hands,
I’ve got the whole globe in my hands!
Another fun resource we are using with our interactive whiteboard is this Drag and drop 7 continents game. You don’t need an interactive whiteboard to use it. It works great with a computer and mouse as well.
