Today we had the honor of spending some time with Jacob Larson at his family’s Dairy Farm. It was truly an educational experience on what it takes to be a dairy farmer and produce milk for our country.
The kids got their first taste of dairy farming when they had to get up at 6am so that we could be at the dairy farm at 8am. Jacob’s day started at 5am.
Larson Dairy Farm produces enough milk to feed 150,000 people each day!
We were able to tour several areas of the dairy farm including where the cows are milked, the feed area, and the nursery!
Jacob even gave each of us an opportunity to milk a cow! However, the part I enjoyed most was when Jacob spoke to the children briefly about his faith, gave glory to God and closed us in prayer!
May God continue to bless the Larson family.
We thank them wholeheartedly for their willingness to take time out of their day to give farm tours to interested milk consumers and homeschooled students.

Wow, love the picture of the kitty. What a fun field trip, I have never been to a dairy farm myself but love that your kids got to see the process and now have an idea of how their milk makes it to the table.
