Have you discovered the joys of File Folder Learning Activities with your children? File Folder games are a favorite center in our homeschool classroom.
Traditional classroom teachers can use them for classroom centers or send them home for with students.
Parents can expand learning and practice by selecting file folder games utilizing skills they would like their child to learn, or become stronger in. File folder games travel well so take them with you on appointments where you know your child will have some waiting time.
File Folder Fun is a free website that is regularly updated with new games. They even offer file folder game templates if you want to create your own games!
Some of my favorites include:
File Folder Heaven offers file folder games specifically created for children with Autism and other disabilities. The site offers a selection of free file folder games and additional games may be purchased as a download.
Childcare Land offers a selection of free printable file folder games/activities for children in preschool or kindergarten. What makes this site unique is that there are also teaching videos included to show you how to use some of the activities. While I wish the file folder games were separated from the learning activities, this site is a good resource for printables in general so I wanted to include it.
When creating file folder games my favorite adhesive is by EZ Runner, and it’s available at most craft stores in the scrapbooking area.
Have you used file folder games with your students? If so, please let me know what your favorites games or resources are in the comments.

I love ffg’s too!! In fact, I love them so much that I make my own. I share some of them on my blog, but all of them (over 100), are uploaded to my Y!Group.
Almost all of mine are Christian based. I teach a religion class to 4 & 5 year olds, but I make them for other ages groups as well. I also have members of the groups that create games as well.
Maybe you can check it out sometime!!
